Tornado damage claims

Tornado damage claims expected to rise in Florida’s Bay Area

Overnight tornadoes swept through Florida’s Bay Area on October 12, bringing with them widespread damage over several counties.

Powerful storms and tornado occurrences have increased over the last several months in the Southeast, fueled by elevated levels of tropical moisture.

The tornadoes notably impacted Clearwater, Dunedin, and Pinellas, leaving behind substantial storm and tornado-related destruction.

Property Damage is Widespread

This cluster of storms was formidable and packed enough tornadic activity to spawn multiple tornadoes.

More than 18,000 residents lost power.

Multiple buildings collapsed in Crystal River, trees were uprooted and fell onto houses, a condo in Dunedin lost a portion of its third-floor wall, windows were shattered in businesses and residences, and roof damage can be seen on numerous properties.

A resident living just outside of Clearwater woke due to loud thunder at 1:45 a.m. She went to check on her dogs and noticed a waterspout outside her house. The waterspout was later confirmed to be a tornado.

“The destruction on the ground is insane,” stated a storm witness to FOX 13 Tampa.

Storm victims are in for a potentially lengthy recovery as the same areas were recently impacted by Hurricane Idalia, and insurance companies have their hands full with Idalia and Hurricane Ian claims still.

Dealing with catastrophic tornado damage to properties

Our objective is to identify, document, and address all of your property damage in the aftermath of a tornado to help you receive the highest possible payout.

Tornadoes leave behind both obvious and hidden damage.

While some types of exterior damage, such as missing or damaged sections of your home, uprooted trees, shattered windows, and major roof damage, are often easy to spot, not all damage can immediately be seen. Even if your property seems to be undamaged following a tornado, major damage may still be present. Working with a public adjuster with experience handling tornado damage to inspect your property can uncover significant damage and allow you to file a damage claim on time to avoid a claim denial for a late submission.

Triumph Consulting can help you collect the highest possible payout after a tornado or powerful storm damages your property.
